Bloggers’ block, writer’s block, procrastination … what do they all have in common? For me, the common denominator is perfectionism. I want to write a post that people will love, generate copy that draws a fantastic response, design a web site that will knock your socks off, pick the perfect market niche for the 30 Day Challenge. Sounds great … right? Shouldn’t we all aim for perfection?
Not if it stops you dead in your tracks. Ahmed Bilal over at Performancing.com says that the only way to beat blogger’s block is to Just Start Blogging. I’ll take it one step further. Face up to the fact that your first attempt will probably be pretty awful. That’s ok. Make peace with it. Turn off your internal editor and just start writing … or drawing … or researching. No judging the first draft!
Create first. Enjoy the process. Then turn that internal editor back on, find the flaws and repair them.

You are right, buddy!
But along with writing a good post successfully you must first bring people to read it. For the you also have to do some workaround. Like posting comments on other’s blogs. Now don’t u delete my this comment. But make it a point to comments on atleat 5 blogs a day.
Nothing unfair or wrong. Your blog may be good but for people to see it you have to take such steps.
Good luck
Now why would I delete your comment? There’s the minor detail of this post being about overcoming writer’s block, but I won’t hold that against you.
I couldn’t agree with you more about the need to comment on other’s blogs. I don’t know about five blogs per day though. It’s more important to identify relevant blogs to your industry and get involved in the conversation. The quantity is not nearly as important as the quality. The quick “hey, great blog” comment is useless, unless it’s accompanied by something that will add value to the post or the conversation.
By the way, you’re blog looks interesting. I’ve subscribed and I’ll be looking for an entry into the conversation! Thanks for visiting.
