You could take an evening class. But really its just a matter of practice and getting your brain to work in that way. Try writing exactly as you would speak, when letter writing. Don't put blocks in your own way by thinking things like, I can't write that its boring, or it would take too long; all that detail is what makes it interesting to read.

It's funny that you should mention drafting thoughts out on paper. Whether I use paper or write on screen depends entirely on my mood. Many times it's the deeper thoughts that come out on paper. It's so much slower, but maybe that gives our brains time to give a little more thought to the words.

Thank you, my friend. I always appreciate your comments!

Hi Shari. I am a kinesthetic learner the same as you. :-)

And yes, as I write, I learn even more. Considering new angles as I go even when I am pressured to stay on topic, I have to fight off the urges to stray as my mind pulls me into a zone that wants to research another angle that may enhance what I have begun! It is bizarre indeed. That's when I take those thoughts and draft them on paper. There's something about writing on physical paper as opposed to drafting notes into a blog editor that makes even the thought more tangible.

I also relate well to something else you said. Writing about balance has helped you to establish further balance. I write about self improvement on my other blog, and it has reinforced my resolves.

Your expressing your spiritual side, has not only made me remember how important God is, but has helped me to focus more on not neglecting other things that I should be taking a stand for around me. If you lose someone in the process of expressing your spiritual side, then God will make up for it by giving you much more and it can be such a gift to others. (speaking from example friend..thank you)

Writing is a tool that has many uses indeed. Thanks for this post for sure. :-)
